W7's Vegan Friendly Makeup Range
I was so excited to discover that the brand W7 have their own range of vegan makeup products called Very Vegan. I just had to order some to try out!
W7 Very Vegan Foundation
I purchased the Very Vegan foundation in the shade Bare Buff as I am naturally pale and use bronzer to even out my skin if I have a tan (not often!). I found that the foundation went on really well and the coverage is buildable. It gives a nice smooth finish that isn’t too sticky feeling.
W7 Very Vegan Loose Powder (translucent)
I love to set my foundation with a powder, so a good loose translucent powder is a staple in my makeup kit. When I first saw the powder, I was slightly concerned as it looked quite dark - I thought that it might make me look orange. However, when I applied it, it was lovely. It went on well and really seals your foundation. It gives a lovely smooth finish and isn’t harsh on pores or imperfections.
W7 Very Vegan Eyeshadow Quad
W7 have created 4 eyeshadow quads and 1 larger eyeshadow palette. The quad shades are Autumn Ambers, Spring Spice, Summer Sands and Warm Winter. I love bronzes, browns and golds so I chose the Autumn Ambers quad. The shadows are highly pigmented and last really well all day without creasing. If you can’t quite settle on one of the eyeshadow quads, their palette seems to be a lovely combination of them all.
W7 Very Vegan Mascara
Lastly I tried out the Very Vegan Mascara. I really like the formula as it’s not too thick and coats the lashes really well. For me personally, I find the Mascara Wand to be a bit too big, which makes it a little messy to apply.
Overall I think they have done an amazing job with these products. They are all officially Vegan certified, Cruelty Free and I think the packaging looks great! The range is quite reasonably priced, and the quality seems really good.
