Vegan festival in London

We attended VegFest London back in October and it was incredible! It was my first visit to a VegFest event and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

Visiting a large vegan event like VegFest might seem intimidating if you're new to veganism, but it's actually the perfect place to start. There is so much information and support available, I found the experience really inspirational and eye opening . It's a fantastic opportunity to get your first taste of some of the amazing vegan food and replacement options available on the market. A couple of our favourites were Seitan's vegan meats and Lettices Food's delicious vegan cheese range!

Cruelty free clothing

Great vegan food isn't the only thing on offer at VegFest; there are loads of stalls selling cruelty free, vegan clothing. If you're not quite ready to strut your stuff covered in vegan slogans, (don't worry, you soon will be) then Hempish are definately worth a visit. They use hemp to create eco-friendly, classic clothing items such as shirts and jumpers to bags and belts! If you want to embrace the vegan message in style, The Anticarnist and Living Beings are for you. They both design and create unique t-shirts, hoodies and jackets - The Anticarnist also give 10% of their profits to the Hillside Animal Sanctuary in Norfolk!

Vegan sweet treats

If you still have room after chowing down on all of the tasty savoury food be sure to keep an eye out for the great range of sweet treats available! Everywhere you look you'll find bright and colourful cakes, chocolates, doughnuts and sweets. If cupcakes are your thing make sure you check out Baking Bad and their vibrant, flavourful and of course vegan range of treats! For something a little healthier, Espleth's Kitchen is perfect. Their desserts are beautifully elegant and everything is raw, gluten free, soya free, dairy free, refined sugar free and vegan!

Okay so i've rambled on for long enough. I think you can tell how much fun we had there. You can spend your time listening to talks and watching cooking demonstrations, whilst eating some the best vegan food available. It's also a great opportunity for you to meet lots of other vegans!

We can't wait to do it all again next year, who's with us?! Be sure to comment down below and let us know!
